Acceleration lane at Polemitia roundabout towards Nicosia reopened to traffic
The acceleration lane from Polemitia roundabout in the direction of Nicosia, which was temporarily closed due to a road collision, has been reopened to traffic. Drivers are urged to exercise caution, drive at low speeds, and maintain distance from other vehicles.
Watering works on the verges of the Larnaca – Nicosia motorway
On the Larnaca–Nicosia motorway, during the period 27/07/2026-30/09/2026, from Monday to Thursday, between 08:30 – 14:30, watering works will be carried out by the Forestry Department on the verges of the motorway in both directions. During the works, part of the motorway's hard shoulder will be closed, in sections of 300 metres at a time. Traffic will not be affected.
Installation of water pipeline on Episkopi-Mandria road
On the Episkopi-Mandria road near the village of Souni-Zanatzia, a private company, on behalf of the Water Development Department, will carry out works to install a water pipeline. During the works, one traffic lane will be closed for approximately 100 m and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane using temporary traffic lights.
